Lisa Olivia Munn is a born and raised in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and also has Chinese roots, but her dad Winston Barrett Munn comes from a Southern family. The couple divorced when Olivia was two years old and she was a child of her stepfather and mother, a member of the United States Air Force. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan, even when the family moved frequently. The actress was a part of local stage productions in this time as well as becoming a model for the Japanese industry. Olivia has moved with her family to Los Angeles in order to fulfil her dream to be an actor, continued to work towards that goal even after her family moved back to America. She started her acting career by playing a minor character. Then, her career gained momentum when she was hired as Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed television series Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007, she played Rob Schneider's Receptionist. She hosts G4 podcasts like "The Daily Nut," "Formula D," along with "Formula D." Since the 2006 television show Beyond the Break, she is still surfing. Her black belt is in Taekwondo. At the age of two, old, her mother was remarried again, this time to an officer from the US Air Force. Although the family moved many times, the bulk of her life was spent in Tokyo Japan in Japan, which is the area in which her father worked for the military. The university she attended was the University of Oklahoma, where she studied journalism, and minored in Japanese as well as dramatic arts.
