Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American actress and singer-songwriter who hails from St. Louis Missouri. She is best known for her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the leader of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's music is featured in television and film shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister named Sloane Momsen. She studied dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. The actress began her professional acting career aged three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake 'n Bake. Momsen went on a career hiatus for three years before she was cast as the lead in Misconceptions, a WB TV series. Momsen was also in Saving Shiloh the 2006 film. She was also among the top three for Hannah Montana, but Miley got the lead role.
