Zoe-perry

Perry is the father Perry is the child of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry, a director. She made her first appearances on TV in the role of Jackie Harris, a character who was played by her mom in the ABC comedy Roseanne. Parents, however, would not let her take on acting roles until she was older and worried about the consequences of stress. Perry confessed that she wasn't at ease in the stage during high school however, she began to perform as way to get acquainted with new people in Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. When she graduated, Perry relocated into New York to search for TV work, landing a few roles on series such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent but homesickness brought her back to California which is where she discovered theater work. Her mother and she starred on Broadway together as part of The Other Place, in 2013. In 2015, she starred alongside her father as well as Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning film Anna Christie in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, she played an appearance on The ABC political thriller Scandal with her father. The actress was also featured on the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon as a version younger of Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. She was able to be cast in the part despite having a close connections to the character's family.
